Michelle was born and raised in Kitsap County and she is the fourth generation in her family to reside there. Michelle is a proud mother and has fostered several children over the years. "It has been an honor to serve my neighbors in the State House over the past ten years,” Caldier said in the news release. “I am running for the State Senate to bring balance back to our state. This is a critical Senate seat to help stop the Democrat Party and the failed policies that are ruining our state."
This week, Governor Bob Ferguson is anticipated to sign the state's budget. Rumors have circulated on whether he will veto sections of the budget that will require us to return to special session to complete. If this is the case, it will drastically impact my Senate race because my campaign will be placed on a legislative freeze.
A legislative freeze prohibits elected officials from raising money for campaigns. Each special session typically lasts 30 days, and with ballots dropping in mid-July, a special session would negatively impact my ability to raise money and fight the nasty attack ads.
This race has statewide impacts, as it will take away the Supermajority in Olympia. I need your help now more than ever. Please consider a contribution of $100, $250, $500, $1,000 or the maximum of $2,400 now before the Governor signs the budget. Any amount is greatly appreciated to restore balance in Olympia and turn our state around!
Yours Truly,
Candidate for State Senate
